Pediatric

Our child center has special care for children under the age of 13. The main units of the department are The Outpatient’s Department (OPD), which is the first point of call for all patients referred to the department. This is also divided into the acute care outpatient department and the specialty clinic. These specialty clinics include; Neurodevelopmental Clinic, Diabetes & Endocrine Clinic, Cardiac Clinic & HIV Clinic, Sickle Cell Clinic, and Neonatal follow up clinic.

Dental

Pentecost Hospital is committed to treating patients with dental needs. We provide comprehensive treatment that address both short- and long-term dental care needs in a holistic environment where it all comes down to great care. Some of our dental services include; cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, emergency dental care, checkups, treatment of periodontal disease, tooth extraction, fillings, root canal, dental crowns, dental bridges, oral surgery etc.

Laboratory

The Laboratory Department has highly sophisticated equipment, to accurately determine clinical diagnosis required by our medical clinicians. All general clinical laboratory tests are performed in-house. We provide several laboratory services such as General Haematology, Special Haematology, Clinical Microbiology, Immunology, Histopathology, Chemical Pathology (General Clinical Chemistry), Special Chemical Pathology, etc.

Out Patient

Our outpatient service is designed for the treatment of patients, who visit the hospital for diagnosis or treatment, but do not require a bed or to be admitted for overnight care. Our modern outpatient service offers a wide range of treatment services such as diagnostic tests and minor surgical procedures such as wellness and prevention (counseling and weight-loss programs), a diagnosis such as lab tests and MRI scans, rehabilitation programs such as drug or alcohol rehab and physical therapy.

Ophthalmology

Pentecost Hospital provides an optical service that operates modern optical practices, well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive eye testing, fully stocked with a complete range of lenses, frames, and accessories. We provide our customers and the general public with high-quality optical products and services, and great customer care according to world standards.

Pharmaceutical

Our pharmacy has up to date medications to treat various kinds of medical conditions. The pharmacy also runs as a community pharmacy enabling clients to purchase medication with a prescription without having to see a doctor.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Our Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialists provide quality health care for women at every stage of womanhood, whether through supporting a healthy pregnancy, or diagnosing and treating complications associated with female sexuality. We provide a full range of gynaecological services, from routine medical screenings and treatments to gynaecological surgery.

Endoscopy

Our Endoscopy center aids in effective diagnosis and appropriate disease management. We cater for services that include hysteroscopy (examination of the uterine cavity), cystoscopy (examination of the bladder) and upper GI cases (examination of the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract) among others.

Accident & Emergency

The Accident Centre receives accident cases in the district as well as the regions across Ghana. We provide the highest quality of care to all accident and emergency cases it receives, bringing them to near or full recovery. We have specialists for trauma, accident and referred orthopaedic cases for all age groups.
